Speaker – Royce Rolstad

SPEAKER: ROYCE ROLSTAD

Royce Rolstad is a native of Apalachicola, Florida. He holds an AA in Radio and Television Broadcasting from Gulf Coast Community College, and a BA from Florida State University in Communication. In 2005 he helped start Forgotten Coast TV, a local cable channel in Franklin County, Florida, focusing on programming about the area. Royce purchased the channel in 2013 and has continued to bring local programming to the Franklin County area. In addition to video work, he is also a portrait photographer and is co-owner of Apalach Ghost Tour, which conducts ghost tours in downtown Apalachicola. He is also active in local community theatre, for which he has written several plays that have been produced. Royce is co-creator of the Flagler Award Winning Web Series, “How to Forgotten Coast Like A Local” and he will be releasing his first book this fall entitled, “The Legend of Tate’s Hell,” based on the local Franklin County legend.
