Scott leads the global destination marketing strategy for the Myrtle Beach area in South Carolina. His career has been focused on elevating destination marketing through successfully leveraging advanced analytics with dynamic content and digital distribution. Under his leadership, Visit Myrtle Beach, as an early adopter to new technology and emerging distribution platforms, is credited with several successful case studies presented by Google, Facebook, Twitter, AdRoll and others.
Scott was elected to HSMAI’s Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in Sales & Marketing in 2010 and graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Hospitality Management and M.S. in Tourism Marketing.
